The Friends of the Burbank Public Library is an independent, non-profit organization incorporated in 1980. The all-volunteer group is vitally interested in promoting books and the Library to the community. The Friends raises funds to support the Library's collection, services, and programs. The Friends operates two bookstores, one at Central Library and one at the Buena Vista Branch, where they sell gently used books, CDs, Blu-ray & DVDs. They also run pop-up book sales throughout the year, and provide tax prep help during tax season, and other activities. All proceeds for valuable Library activities including Summer Reading performers, children's year-round programming, author talks, enhanced book and eBook collections, and more. Consider joining the Friends of the Library and work together to support the Library.  Learn more at:
