After an extended hiatus due to COVID-19, we have scheduled our next SoCal Games Day for Saturday, May 13, 2023!
Woo-hoo! Come join us to play fun games! Meet new people! Win medium prizes!
For those of you in this group who have never attended a SoCal Games Day, it is a public, full day of convention-style open gaming. We play all sorts of games: mostly Euro-style, but also party games, Family Games, and Card Games.
We are meeting at the Little White Chapel in Burbank and details are below:
Little White Chapel Social Hall 1711 N. Avon St. (please enter on Jeffries) Burbank, CA 91505
Hours: 10 AM – 10 PM Admission: $10 per adult – Please bring cash. We do not have a Venmo/Zelle/PayPal account. Cost of admission goes toward room rental fee, plus game table prizes raffled off at 4:30 pm. We are not a for-profit business. This is a labor of love for the gaming community!

Other useful information: GAME LIBRARY: Attendees typically bring games with them to share with other attendees. If you bring games, please make sure your name is in it (label, business card, etc.). When you are borrowing a game, please be very careful to return it in the same condition you found it and to the correct stack of games. Often there will be multiple copies of popular games.
PARKING: There is ample street parking. If you are able to, please park on the street to save the spots in the lot for those that need closer parking.
FOOD RULES: You are welcome to bring food, snacks, and drinks with you. Please clean up after yourself.
DRINK UPDATE: We will NOT have beverages for sale, but we will have big bottles of water available. Please bring your refillable bottle, if you’d like to drink water. For sodas, you are welcome to bring your own or frequent a nearby restaurant/convenience store. There is a refrigerator on-site, if you want to bring a couple with you.

SELLING GAMES: You are welcome to pre-arrange game sales and then deliver at Games Day. But we do not allow commercial sales, nor do we allow attendees to bring random games with the hope of selling them. Table space is limited, so please only bring games that you have sold and are delivering.
COVID RELATED RULES: Vaccinations are required. Masks are encouraged, but will not be required. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and join us for the next gathering!
