In the heart of Chicago’s vibrant streets, where culinary traditions take root and flourish, Corner Bakery Cafe began its journey in 1991. What started as artisan bread-making in the kitchens of Maggiano’s has blossomed into a beloved gathering place that spans neighborhoods across America.
 
As our menu expanded beyond bread to include handcrafted sandwiches, vibrant salads, and comforting soups, so too did our presence in Chicago neighborhoods. Each new location carried forward our founding belief: that a meal should nourish both body and community.
